Background

Cordaid is one of the largest non-governmental organisations in the Netherlands, working in development and humanitarian programmes. We have projects in the most fragile countries, like Syria, South Sudan, Central African Republic and Afghanistan. In those countries we have teams and we partner with local organisations. Interventions are mainly in the Shelter & Settlement (S&S) and WASH sectors but obviously they depend on the needs. More and more, we use ‘Cash’ as implementation modality.

In 2018, we set up so-called Communities of Experts and Practices (CoEP) so that Cordaid staff can learn more from each other and develop their expertise further. This requires support from our The Hague office and for that we are recruiting an intern to join our team.
