We do so by providing programmes in a number of areas, including building resilience to disasters and climate change, and strengthening the provision of security and justice.

Cordaid is looking for a

Intern Communication/ E-learning – Security and Justice

 

The Strategic Partnership program implemented by the Security and Justice Unit of Cordaid aims to empower people in fragile countries through lobby and advocacy. The program started in 2016 and is achieving interesting results. We would like to share our approaches, lessons and results to a broader audience.

Internally in Cordaid, both at the Global Office and the Country Offices, there is a need to promote the SP program to improve synergy with colleagues from other programs, but also to use the experiences for new projects or interventions.

The program is also working on capacity development of country office staff and local partner organizations. We have started to experiment with e-learning/ blended learning approaches.

What you do

We are looking for an intern who can produce communication materials from the content provided by the program staff and who can support the development of e-learning trajectories.

  • Elaborate success stories that highlight the lobby and advocacy approach of the program
  • Develop promotional leaflets on key SP topics in consultation with the project team
  • Prepare a bi-monthly SP newsletter
  • Participate in the design and implementation of (e-)-learning trajectories
  • Develop training materials for e-learning

 

Who you are

  • You are a student and are for the period of the internship enrolled in a bachelor or masters study related to international development;
  • Proficiency in English and at least written understanding of French
  • Creative writing skills
  • Team worker and culturally sensitive
  • Experience with redacting texts
  • Experience with the use of social media

 

What we offer

  • An internship contract for 32 hours a week for 5-6 months;
  • Internship compensation of max €350.- per month in case of a 36 hour workweek;
